Did you know?
When your local Stettler Grocery store (No Frills, Sobeys, and Walmart) asks if you want to donate to the Food Bank at the checkout 100% of the money donated comes directly to the Stettler Food bank! These donations go a long way in helping us meet our goals!!
-Sobeys Christmas campaign raised over $14000
-Walmart's Fight Hunger Spark Change campaign raised over $6600
-No Frills had a Feed More Families campaign that raised over $5400
Fire Dept. Fall Food Drive -Oct. 7th
On the evening of October 7th the Stettler Fire Department will be going around town collecting food and cash donations for the Stettler Food Bank .... Thanks in advance for your generosity!!
2023 Stats
In 2023 the Stettler Food Bank provided hampers to 1870 households. This works out to 4751 individuals. 35 % of the individuals we served are 18 years or younger!
Food Banks Canada Hunger Count Report
Each year Food Banks across Canada submit their stats to a national Hunger Count Report, it provides data on a National and Provincial level as well as policy recommendations required to make a positive change!!
Food Banks Canada Capacity Increase Grant
This year we received a Capacity Increase grant from Food Banks Canada! With the funds received we purchased a shiny new 40 Cu. Ft. freezer!! This enabled us to receive more rescued, and donated frozen product. Which meant we could provide more to our clients!!
